Collage and Journal Pages

This is made from a large, messy collage page (that I had lots of fun making). I thought this part looked somewhat like water, so I added the fish to it. It is a cold laminate transfer from a magazine picture. In real life the red is not quite as overwhelming as in this scan.

Here are just a few of my journal pages, mostly where I was playing with rub-on letters. I love rub-ons!

These pages have a couple of my more recent "mantras"

I forgot what I had planned to put on the rest of this page, but I like the way the colors came out, even though it was nothing like what I expected. The base paper is black under the acrylic paints.

These were done over a few days when I was feeling depressed and frustrated:

Most of what I know about acrylic paint, collage, bookmaking, journal-making, and stuff like that was learned from my favorite teacher, Kelly Kilmer. If you have an opportunity to take classes from her, don't miss out! Her website is www.kellykilmer.com

Miscellaneous Stuff

A few years ago I played around with making my own faux post. My husband carved the Chinese seals for me.

These are a couple of cards with the flowers stamped with a watercolor technique. Lots of fun!
